If the Skirt Fits

There's a new study out that has found a woman who wears a skirt suit tends to stand out more than her  female counterpart wearing a pants suit. In Why skirts are good for your careerRenee Sylvestre-Williams reports on the findings, and speaks to Human Resources expert Sarah Paul who comments that a woman "wearing a skirt and dressing in an overtly feminine way elicits personality characteristics more often demonstrated by women... support, empathy, sensitivity... which are all desirable traits of a leader in today's workplace."

So, the next time you're shopping for a new work ensemble, consider adding a stylish skirt and suit combo to your professional wardrobe.
