Retrenchment is the wrong response to adversity

Here's a great article we found in business magazine Fast Company. Set Smaller Goals, Get Bigger Results by Dan Heath & Chip Heath talks about how to overcome inertia in your personal and professional life. The Heath brothers make a case for the fact that the dread of doing something (like making a cold call to a sales lead) is oftentimes worse than the thing that's dreaded. The answer? Set "whisker goals". Make tiny steps to move forward and you'll find yourself getting the kick start you need to accomplish your goals in no time.
