Wonderful Wellies
We’ve fallen head over heels for one of the hottest footwear trends… Hunter Wellington Boots! Once a traditional symbol of British country life, these rubber boots have become a modern day fashion statement on the other side of the pond. We tried on a pair of these hip waterproof wellies and were pleasantly surprised to find that water was impenetrable through them. With its flattering cut for women, as well as a rubber company logo distinctly stitched in front, the Huntress design is our pick for a trendy and comfortable way to splash through puddles while getting to work on a rainy day!
$150 at Hills Of Kerrisdale (2125 West 41st Ave., Vancouver, BC); Gravity Pope (524 - 17th Ave. SW, Calgary, AB); Heel Boy (682 Queen St. W., Toronto, ON); and Get Outside (437 Queen St. W., Toronto, ON)

Luxurious Lather
Taking a shower is one of the small pleasures in our daily lives that some of us may take for granted. Those precious minutes in the bathroom is a time to shut yourself from the outside world and simply indulge in a peaceful and relaxing moment. We recently discovered the Pacifica Natural Soap collection, and we could hardly wait to start lathering ourselves in these heavenly scents. These paraben-free vegetable soaps are handmade, blending Pacifica's signature perfumes with essential and natural oils. There are over 20 different scented soaps to choose from including three of our personal favourites--the fragrant Waikiki Pikake, the tropical Brazilian Mango Grapefruit, and the invigorating Lotus Garden. No matter which scent suits your fancy, we're quite sure shower time is about to get a lot more luxurious.

Lost & Found
It's something a lot of people who have, or rather, don't have, will poke fun at themselves for. The reality, however, is that lacking a good sense of direction is not always a laughing matter. For the directionally-challenged, it's often a frustrating and sometimes even scary experience to not know where you're going or how to get where you need to. Especially for us career gals who travel often for business, if we lack direction sense, there's undoubtedly a lot of additional time spent studying maps, going over routes, and pondering how to get from A to B. To help us conquer our fears and frustrations, we picked up a copy of Never Get Lost Again: The Complete Guide to Improving Your Sense of Direction by Linda Grekin (RDR Books), and we're so glad we did! The author herself admits to having a poor sense of direction and is therefore able to write with true authority on the subject. In her book, Grekin explains why people who are perfectly competent in other parts of their lives manage to get lost, and also what they can do about it. An invaluable and practical resource for those who want to find their way around!
